Getting out of work soon or wrapping up your day with no dinner ideas or plans? No worries, you are in luck. One of my favorite things to do in the summer is grill out. My nights typically revolve around working out, prepping dinner and cooking dinner; however, some nights when I get home I tend crave something that is grilled. Whether it be a simple piece of meat or a balsamic-marinated eggplant, I love how the grill brings out unique and strong flavors out in food.

Behold, five phenomenal dishes with full recipes to start your summer evening off perfectly using a grill. Not only are these dishes healthy, but they are also jam-packed full of bold flavors.

1.) Grilled Citrus-Marinated Mexican Chicken (Recipe)

This grilled citrus-marinated Mexican chicken is made with fresh orange, lime juice, and chipotle peppers and it is to die for. Sweet, smoky and perfect for the grill, this dish will be a meal the entire family will love.

Whenever choosing to grill steak, I generally go with flank. Inexpensive, juicy and delicious, it goes great on kebabs. When I want to splurge I'll pick up a rib eye steak, which is a more fatty and flavoursome cut. With a simple, six ingredient marinade, this seafood dish is absolutely amazing on the grill. Grilling for roughly three minutes on each side, this quick, easy and delicious dinner will certainly please any seafood lover. We recommend serving with a side of saffron rice and a vegetable of your choice.
