3 Tasty Tomato Juicing RecipesIf there is one type of juice that has its own special ingredients, it is the juice from the noble tomato. Tomato juicing recipes have become highly popular over the years, both as a cocktail and brunch staple, and as a health drink. The variations of this beverage supply some of the most unique tastes in the juice industry, with salty, savory, spicy, and even sweet options.

1.) Healthy Tomato Sipper

If you are looking to cleanse your body of toxins, take in some extra vitamins, and enjoy the taste of tomato juicing recipes with no added salt, refined sugar, or processed ingredients, try this take on a spicy original.

Ingredients & Directions:

  1. In a juicer, add 1 cup of diced romaine lettuce
  2. 2 diced red tomatoes
  3. one diced red pepper
  4. 1 peeled carrot
  5. 2 diced celery stalks
  6. 1/3 cup of sliced jalapeno with no seeds
  7. 1/4 cup of diced green onion

This drink gets better when cold, so serve it chilled or over ice. If you aren't a fan of spices, you can forego the jalapeno, and replace them with a sweeter or milder pepper.

2.) Old Faithful

If you enjoy tomato juice with brunch or as a cocktail then you are likely to recognize this as one of the more popular tomato juicing recipes. It does have a higher salt content than that of the more healthy option above, but it also provides a wonderful contrast with any bitter alcohol that might be mixed with it.

Ingredients & Directions:

  1. In a juicer or in a high grade food processer
  2. add 2 ripe Roma tomatoes
  3. 1 diced stalk of celery, a tbsp. of lemon juice
  4. 1/4 cup of diced chives
  5. 1 diced red bell pepper.
  6. Combine this mixture with 2 tsp of Worcestershire sauce, a pinch of salt, and 1/2 cup water.

This juice will bring back memories of sipping a Bloody Mary or Caesar on the patio.

3.) Sweet And Fresh

For something sweet and fresh try a recipe with a little less spice and just a small kick of sugary goodness. It may not be your number one choice or a cocktail, but it makes for a refreshing change from the usual tomato juicing recipes you will see around online.

Ingredients & Directions:

To make this mouth-watering mixture:

  1. add 3 large ripe red tomatoes to your juicer
  2. along with 2 stalks of cleaned and diced celery.
  3. You will also want to juice half an English cucumber after peeling it.
  4. In your food processor, add 1/2 peeled lemon, fresh ginger, a pinch of cayenne pepper, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of fresh ground black pepper.
  5. You will also add to this 1/2 tsp of honey, raw organic sugar, or stevia.
  6. Blend together and enjoy the savory and sweet flavors as they melt over your tongue at once. This is a particularly fun drink for hot summer days by the pool when your friends get sick of lemonade and want a more grown up beverage.

No matter how you enjoy your tomato juice, remember to always make sure that ingredients are fresh, ripe, and properly washed before using.
