The Absolute Best Acai Smoothie Bowl (Recipe)Acai bowls are my go-to breakfast while in Hawaii or Southern California; however, while living in the state of Colorado good acai bowls are hard to come by which has forced me to make them at home. After sampling this delicious acai bowl numerous times I figured I'd make it myself and enjoy this acai bowl in my home state.

Acai Bowl Recipe:

Serving Size: 2

Acai Bowl Ingredients:

  • 2 Sambazon acai smoothie packs (unsweetened)
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup of blueberries or raspberries or quartered strawberries
  • 1 cup of coconut water
  • 1/2 cup of almond milk (unsweetened)
  • 1 tablespoon of maca powder (optional)
  • 1-3 tablespoons of chia seeds or flaxseeds (optional)

Acai Bowl Toppings:

  • 1/2 cup of granola
  • 1/2 of a banana (slices)
  • 1/4 cup of blueberries, raspberries or quartered strawberries
  • 1/4 cup of shredded coconut
  • 1 tbsp. of agave nectar or raw honey

Acai Bowl Directions:

  1. Break frozen acai up into chunks and place in blender.
  2. Add other acai bowl Ingredients in this order:
    • 1 banana
    • 1 cup of blueberries, raspberries or quartered strawberries
    • 1 cup of coconut water
    • 1/2 cup of almond milk
  3. Blend until smooth.
  4. Add toppings in this order:
    • Granola
    • Banana slices
    • Blueberries, raspberries or quartered strawberries
    • Shredded coconut
  5. Drizzle with agave nectar or raw honey
  6. Share and enjoy!
