The Absolute Best Acai Smoothie Bowl (Recipe)Acai bowls are my go-to breakfast while in Hawaii or Southern California; however, while living in the state of Colorado these are hard to come by which has forced me to make them at home. After sampling this delicious acai bowl numerous times I figured I'd make it myself and enjoy this acai bowl in my home state.

Acai Bowl Recipe:

Serving Size: 2

Acai Bowl Ingredients:

  • 2 Sambazon Acai Smoothie Packs (Unsweetened)
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 cup Strawberries/Blueberries/Raspberries
  • 1 cup Coconut Water
  • 1/2 cup Almond Milk (unsweetened)
  • 1 tablespoon Maca (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons Flaxseeds (optional)

Acai Bowl Toppings:

  • 1/2 cup Granola
  • 1/2 Banana (slices)
  • 1/4 cup Quartered Strawberries or Blueberries
  • 1/4 cup Shredded Coconut
  • 1 tbsp. Agave Nectar or Raw Honey

Acai Bowl Directions:

  1. Break frozen acai up into chunks and place in blender.
  2. Add other Acai Bowl Ingredients in this order:
    • 1 banana
    • 1 cup (strawberries/blueberries/raspberries)
    • 1 cup Coconut Water
    • 1/2 cup Almond Milk
  3. Blend until smooth.
  4. Add Toppings in this order:
    • Granola
    • Banana Slices
    • Quartered Strawberries or Blueberries
    • Shredded Coconut
  5. Drizzle with Agave Nectar or Raw Honey
  6. Share and enjoy!
